Chapter 10 Creating User Interfaces with Interface Builder

Postby Ruizme » Mon Dec 12, 2011 7:16 am

Hi,

In the interface builder for iPhone OS, I want to make a view with a Table View, and I want to have my text fields inside there. Problem is, when I put them inside, the Table View scrolls, but the text fields stay where they are. How do I make them scroll?

Thanks

I am new to programming. Part of me really wants to see the answers to the exercises in the book.

I am in need of some help getting the label to display a date on startup. Of course i could just change the text of the label to a date, but was wondering, how can i get that label to do a date as expressed in the exercise. Got the button working but the label is for some reason messing me up.

Thanks
James

Gary yes I did. The videos are nice but they don't go into the exercises in detail at all unless I am missing something. Also, the videos reference a different file most of time than the chapter itself in the book and sometimes even say the code can be found on site but I assume this is for class as it is not. Only the basic code created for each chapter within the chapter is on site and not the exercises. As a newbie who bought the book, it would be nice to reference possible solutions to exercises. Yes, takes discipline to not cheap but that's more on us. Just my two cents as I was stuck on this for hours before just moving forward which is bad to do in programming.
